We usually arrive at the house or venue about 2 hours before the wedding is due to start. We stay for as long as we can, although this is dependant on how far away the ceremony is taking place. We try to film as many hair, make-up shots and dress shots as we can in the time we have.

You will not need to wear a microphone at all throughout the day. We use a directional microphone attached to the camera which picks up any sound from the direction it is pointing in. The camera also contains a microphone which picks up sound from all around (omnidirectional). We are then able to adjust the sound levels in post production to provide the best sound quality available.

Yes you can choose your own music for the DVD, please tell us that you would like your own choice and then provide us with copies of the music and we will add it to suitable parts of your wedding DVD.

When will we receive our finished DVD?
Our contract states that we must deliver the wedding DVD within two months of the wedding. We will usually deliver the DVD before this, but two months is the absolute most that you will have to wait.

Will the venue have any objections?
You should check with your venue as soon as possible about having a videographer. Although the majority of venues will not object, some may charge you an additional fee or may ask that we film from one place only whilst in the venue.

Will I need to tell my photographer that I’m having a videographer?
It is advisable to let them know that someone will be filming, but it is not essential.
